Depending on who you talk to, two years is an eternity or a meteoric rise. Frankly, we don't care and we're pretty sure the Summer Set don't, either. Because when they convened in 2007 in Scottsdale, Arizona, they only wanted to hang out and writing the tightest pop songs possible. In the process, they ended up being the kings--and queen--of the local scene, racking up sales of over 20,000 copies each of their two self-released EPs--before they graduated high school. On their debut album for Razor & Tie, Love Like This, the quintet keep things bouncy and believable with their sonic tales of both lovesickness and comeuppance that everyone can relate to, immensely. We're looking forward to seeing the crowds at the AP Tour jumping around to some of the Set's best sugar-coated revenge anthems, and then pairing off to soothe each other's broken hearts. Good times...
